Who We Are

Our church is a Christian church, and that means that we are centered on the gospel of Jesus Christ.  We believe that the head of the Church is Jesus Christ.  We believe in the Trinity as one God, three persons, the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit.

Our church is reformed, which means we believe that God saves us by faith alone, by his grace alone, through Christ alone.  It also means that we find that the system of teaching in the documents of the Protestant Reformation, like the Apostles' Creed , The Nicene Creed and the Westminster Confession of Faith do a really good job of summarizing what the Bible teaches.

Our church is evangelical, which means that we believe the Bible is the Word of God and that the good news is to be offered to everyone!

Our church is presbyterian, which means that we are connected to other congregations and that our church is not led by a pastor but by a team of elders, which includes both ministers and laymen.  We belong to the Presbyterian Church of America and the Pittsburgh Presbytery.

Our goal is to be a church that carries out the Great Commission in the context of where we live and work and beyond, making disciples in the name of the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them everything that Jesus has commanded us.

We hope that you will join us soon to worship and to learn more.
